A good way to begin is by setting aside some time each morning to perform deep breathing exercises. This can relieve stress and anxiety. They promote feelings of calmness and balance.

Begin by finding a quiet place. Dress comfortably. Close your eyes and clear your mind. Now take a deep breath in through your nose and hold it for three seconds. Release all the air in your lungs. Do this five times. Once you feel calm, begin to speak to yourself in low, comforting tones. Remind yourself of how blessed you are. Talk about how intelligent, wise and proficient you are at your job and at life. You attract positive energy. You are successful and strong. You can overcome adversity.
